O-One alongside the film production house Lumiere&Co create a docufilm about the citizens of Milan.
A fresco of Milan in all its fullness as seen through the contributions of its citizens, following the example of the great Ermanno Olmi’s “Milano ‘83”. This is the aim of the #FilmaMi project by Lumiere&Co.
At www.filmami.eu residents of Milan are asked to upload short videos which capture the faces and voices that form the beating heart of the metropolis. "We have asked the people of Milan to send us raw footage, intact, which will then be re-elaborated by our editors" ays Cristiana Mainardi, Development and Communication Coordinator at Lumiere&Co. "This material may be developed into the seventh episode of the anthology film “Milano 2015” or, depending on the content collected, a film in its own right. What’s more, all the videos entered are now part of the FilmaMi archive and will be donated to a mediateca in Milan."
The anthology docufilm “Milano 2015” boasts the participation of three professional filmmakers, Silvio Soldini, Giorgio Diritti and Walter Veltroni, and three first-time directors; the actress Cristina Capotondi, the ballet dancer Roberto Bolle and Elio, front-man from Elio e le Storie Tese.
O-One named the initiative, coordinated the creation of an upload platform for user generated content and created the concept and image design at www.filmami.eu.
